Competition is something that inspires kids to do their best – too push themselves more than they usually do. When students compete they will become more inquisitive, research independently, and learn to work with others. They will generally strive to do more than is required. Running a coding competition is a great method to introduce coding to kids in a non-threatening way and help them take the first step towards a new language that does not come so easily to many.
