How to Upgrade a Classroom Subscription

Teachers are now able to have more than one classroom subscription and are also able to assign different subscriptions for separate classes. This offers teachers more options when it comes to teaching code and helps them manage their subscriptions on their own.

To upgrade a classroom’s subscription, please do the following:

  1. Click on ‘see my classrooms’
  2. Locate, but do not click on, the classroom you would like to upgrade
  3. Click on the upwards arrow icon on the right side of the screen, underneath the Actions column.
  4. Under ‘Upgrade to:’, choose the subscription you would like to upgrade to. If you only have one other subscription to choose from, the box will automatically choose it for you.
  5. You will see the subscription seats’ quota status in the current subscription and the upgraded one
  6. click on Upgrade
  7. Please note: upgrading the classroom will not free seats in the classroom’s current subscription.
  8. You will get a summary of the final seats usage after upgrade.
  9. Click on Confirm Upgrade to proceed.
