Ohio
Anthony began his career in the U.S. Army as an Electronic Warfare Signals Intelligence Analyst. After five years in the Army he completed an Electrician Apprenticeship and worked as an Industrial Electrician for the Chrysler Corporation. In addition to installing and maintaining electrical supply and safety equipment, he specialized in machine controls. After eleven years working in this occupation, he left Chrysler and completed a degree in Education. He started teaching Information Technology classes at Arbor Hills Junior High School in Sylvania, Ohio. This year is his fifteenth-year teaching and fifth year using CodeMonkey in his curriculum.

Javier is in his tenth year of working at East Fort Worth Montessori Academy as a Computer Science & Robotics Teacher/Coach for grade levels PreK, 3/4 to 5th grade. He is making positive changes by advocating for grants for students that provide new or upgraded equipment to the campus. Mr. Aguilar is an active edcamper who likes to share and network with other educators as a facilitator for coding, gamification, robotics & digital portfolios, LEGO Mindstorms, Scratch, Google CS First, CodeMonkey variety curriculum and MinecraftEdu. This is his second time as an Ambassador and has been using CodeMonkey since 2014!

Chris has been an educator for 23 years and has taught Instrumental Music/General Music, Computer, Keyboarding, and Related Technology Application courses. She is currently teaching computer science at Noble Elementary in the Robbinsdale School District where she services students in grades K-5. She also serves as a technology lead, which provides her with many training sessions, classes and opportunities to teach others about all aspects of technology. This is Chris’ second year using CodeMonkey with her students!

Lynn is a software developer turned educator with over 15 years of experience teaching computer science to K-8 students. She is passionate about empowering the next generation of problem solvers and innovators. She believes that every child has the potential to be a coder, and is committed to cultivating their interest and nurturing their coding skills. In addition to teaching, this journey has led her to other roles including STEM Coordinator, Computer Science Club Advisor and developer of district-wide Computer Science curriculum guidelines. She uses CodeMonkey daily in her classes to ignite creativity and problem-solving skills in her students. CodeMonkey's user-friendly interface makes it an ideal tool for closing the coding gap and inspiring the next generation of innovators.

Amy is an Instructional Technology Coach/Technology Teacher for the Appoquinimink School District at Silver Lake Elementary School in Middletown, DE. After 22 years in the classroom teaching first and second grade and helping other teachers integrate technology into their instruction, Amy was excited to move into her role as an instructional technology coach/technology teacher. Amy works with students in grades 1-5 teaching them about coding, graphic design, robotics, typing skills, Google Drive, just to name a few topics. She loves using CodeMonkey with her students and can’t wait to share that excitement with a broader audience.
